Limited Edition: Geo.Graham Tourbillon

Graham has introduced a new piece, a no-nonsense tourbillon with classic good looks. The Geo.Graham incorporates the visible tourbillon at 6 o’clock, complemented by a classically styled dial. There are Arabic numerals outside a railway chapter ring marking the seconds, and Roman numerals on the inside marking the hours. The blued houre and minute hands stand in contrast to the white dial. The pink-gold case is 40 mm in diameter.

Now we’re waiting for Baselworld in march 2015 for a longer, more detailed look and more information on that georgeous watch. It is limited to 100 units.

Introducing The Panerai Luminor Submersible 1950 Carbotech

Panerai introduced a new Submersible with a case made of carbotech, a composite based on carbon fiber. The design and utility are inspired by the original Luminor 1950 developed by Panerai in the 1950s. Those were famously used by commandos of the Italian Navy.

panerailuminor submersibleThe Submersible 1950 Carbotech features a matte black 47 mm case made of a composite for which it is named. Carbotech is lighter and less corrosive than titanium or ceramic.
The black dial is the perfect backdrop to applied hour markers. The lume applied to the markers and hands as well as the copy at 12 and 6 o’clock are pre-aged in color. A colorful additional appears in the form of a blue running seconds hand.

Inside is the Panerai built P.9000 caliber, an automatic winding mechanical movement featuring a three-day power reserve.
